Welcome to National eService Delivery Standards Programme - self assess your council now!

Bookmark Bookmark us at esd.org.uk/nesds

The NeSDS eService Delivery Standards have now been approved by DCLG. We have begun the rollout phase and will be contacting you soon to see how you are using the eStandards and what benefits you expect to gain from them.

The eStandards cover the following service areas - You can download them for free - just click on the standard you want to download

Downloads of the NeSDS standards are logged for reporting purposes.

After having an impressive take-up of the Standards, we are now in a position to publish some statistics on our two most popular Standards - Customer Services and ICT. This link will allow you to view simple tables to understand where local authorities are currently performing against the Standards. This information is readily available and up-to-date for all service areas for those authorities who choose to self-assess!

You must be registered and logged in to view the standards documents. To register with the esd-toolkit use the online registration form.

To self assess your Department and Council against each of the eStandards, you will need to be subscribed to esd-toolkit.

You will be asked for your esd-toolkit login to gain access to the self assessment tool.

Once you have logged in, click on the link below, you will see each standard set out on the left hand side of the page with an individual tree containing the self assessment categories with other relevant information on the right hand side.
